Knife:

The 2024 SkurLite is the first ever skeleton, or scale-less, knife made by Shed Knives. Taken from the 2024 Skur, the SkurLite is designed to take on light field tasks during backpacking, climbing, EDC, and minimalist ventures. The knife industry has been leaning towards small fixed blades in recent years which will give increased attention to the 2024 SkurLite. The SkurLite features a unique lanyard hole fit for D-Rings, rope, lanyards, and much more. Thanks to the minimalist features of the SkurLite, this blade is ready to take on any adventure outdoors.

Sheath:

All 2024 models come with a black Kydex sheath. The Kydex sheath allows the knife to click into place and stay there without the worry of your knife cutting through the sheath (which happens with leather and Nylon) or fall out. Kydex can be easily washed with soap and water. Make sure to completely dry and clear the inside of your Kydex sheath with compressed air before re-sheathing for storage.

Additional Features:

The 2024 Shed Knives Collection features a few similarites across the entire collection. The jimping on the spine of the knife is a nice addition to help you maintain a firm grip on the knife along with better control. The sharpening choil also helps you with sharpening as it allows for a distinct seperation between the blade and handle. This also aids in sharpening completely to the heel of the blade. The lanyard hole design can be used to attach the knife to rope, line, D-rings, gear, and more. The soft corners of the lanyard hole allow rope to lock in while the triangular design limits sharp angles that could cut rope.
